So Long Summer!

Summer has officially come to an end. As we transition into fall, we reflect on our summer travels and we think it’s safe to say, we had an awesome, fulfilling summer!

I mostly stayed within Colorado this summer and took advantage of its great weather. I visited Vail, Colorado Springs, Red Rocks, and Boulder. Colorado Springs was my favorite get-a-way, as I got to spend time with Amanda, while she was there for a wedding. We stayed in an adorable Airbnb in Old Colorado City, had a night out with our husbands and other friends at Prime25, and visited the Broadmoor to dine at The Golden Bee.

I ended the summer with my honeymoon trip to Greece, which was an absolute dream. We went to Athens, Paros and Santorini. The views, beaches, food, history, culture and more made for an amazing 10-day trip. To help plan this special trip, I used my friend Sarah’s company, Sea To City Travels, which made for such a seamless experience. My only regret is not staying longer! I’m already brainstorming what big trip I want to take next summer…

Amanda was on the go all summer long! She kicked off her travels with a family trip to Pinetop, AZ to escape the hot Phoenix temperatures! Next up, she spent a few days in Encinitas, CA for her daughter, Abigail’s 2nd birthday. They used the gorgeous beach scenery as an opportunity to capture some family photos.

For her last summer trip, Amanda headed back where she grew up in Minnesota to celebrate her birthday! In between those 3 trips, she attended 2 weddings: one in Colorado Springs, as mentioned above, and another in Sedona, AZ. Amanda and her family also moved recently too. Talk about a busy summer!

If you think Amanda had a busy summer of traveling, think again, because Anayis went everywhere! Per usual, she was living out of a suitcase from May to… well, now! Stops along the way include: Keswick, Washington, D.C., Charleston, Newport Beach, San Mateo, Mayakoba, Austin, Philadelphia, Newport (this time, in Rhode Island!) and finally, a month in Italy!

Anayis’ favorite moments this summer were spent in the piazzas of Tuscany, making friends, sipping caffé and devouring gelato!

Next up for us: We will be together in Phoenix this Sunday for a quick visit and then it’s off to LAS VEGAS for IMEX America a week later. We hope you enjoyed reading about our team’s travels!
