Work-iversaries!

February has been a busy month for DINEvent! I handled a record-high volume of venue sourcing Requests for Proposals, while Amanda planned a multi-city event series for Dell. Anayis coordinated international travel logistics for Dover Corporation and traveled to Dallas to provide on-site meeting support for Coverys.

One of the best parts of this month was our annual retreat last week in Phoenix. We took new company photos with Kaylee and Andy, spent quality time together and celebrated Anayis’ and my work-iversaries at FLINT by Baltaire. We spent much of that night with a trip down memory lane, recounting stories from the past 10 years together!

These adorable (and delicious!) mini cakes were from aBakeshop, a local Phoenix spot.

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been with DINEvent for 7 years! I graduated from Arizona State University in May 2014 and began working for DINEvent in February 2016, so the majority of my career has been here. I get to work in an industry I love with co-workers who I consider family — what could be better?! I’ve seen and helped DINEvent grow to where it is today, and I’m excited for its future.

Thank you, Amanda, for taking a chance on me years ago and for being such a great mentor. Thank you, Anayis, for the constant collaboration via daily texts, emails, FaceTimes and more. I wouldn’t trade our squad for anything!

I asked Anayis to reflect on her time with DINEvent, and she said:

DINEvent is my home and my haven. Amanda has pushed me to be my best self, graciously leading me toward even more confidence and professional prowess. Rachel grounds me - daily - and for her, I am so grateful. Never has 5-years flown by so quickly, but you know what they say - time flies when you’re having fun!
