Most Sourced Cities of 2022

DINEvent's venue sourcing service is available anywhere in the United States and because of that, we were curious to know which cities our clients requested most in 2022. Highlighted below are DINEvent’s top 5 sourcing markets.

#5: Las Vegas

It’s no secret that the DINEvent team loves Las Vegas (read about our latest trip to Vegas) and so do our clients! Besides the obvious things it offers like shows and entertainment, gambling, resort-style pools and shopping, Sin City has an incredible food scene. After our corporate clients spend their day(s) in a hotel’s convention space, they were ready to dine off-site. Queue DINEvent!

#4: Boston

Boston was a super popular city for us to source these last 12 months. With so much history, different neighborhoods to stroll around in, and plenty of dining options, it’s a great place to host a meeting or event. Fortunately for us, Anayis is local to Boston, so she keeps us up to date on the latest and greatest hot spots. One of our favorite staple venues in Boston is Hampshire House, which has been a Dining Partner for many years. It’s historical and elegant in all the best ways!

#3: Washington, D.C + Metro Areas

Another city that’s rich in history is Washington, D.C. and we sourced here a ton this year. Between the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the dozens of hotels throughout the city, the meetings and events happening daily are countless.

National Harbor has become another popular area for corporate groups because of the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, as well as MGM. One of our favorite spots at National Harbor is The Walrus Oyster & Ale House.

In D.C., we love Succotash, Bobby Van’s Grill, and Toro Toro - just to name a few.

#2: TIE between San Fran/Bay Area & Chicago

Our second most sourced market is a tie between the San Francisco/Bay Area and Chicago. Both cities have so much to offer our clients, such as museums, unique architecture (like the Golden Gate Bridge in SF or the Willis Tower in Chicago), a vibrant music scene, and of course, a ton of great venues for meetings and events! From rooftops to restaurants, and even a private estate in Burlingame, CA, we sourced many unique venue spaces this year for our clients.

#1: NYC!

The city we received the most RFPs for in 2022 was NYC. This comes as no surprise as The City has always been a top market for DINEvent. Plus, who doesn’t love NYC?! It would be impossible to choose our favorite Dining Partners here. In December 2019, I spent a day visiting some and more recently, I enjoyed an amazing dinner at Oceana!

While we sourced them the most in 2022, these markets weren’t necessarily where we booked the majority of our business… Interesting, huh?

Stay tuned & Happy Holidays!
